| February 1962 Eclipse
Dearest
Ayrel,
This is a hasty letter in order to catch the mails so that
you can receive this on saturday - I hope.
Perhaps you know that a very important Eclipse of the sun is
taking place at this New Moon, Feb, 4th, at 7:10 P.M., E.S.T. An Eclipse
at the New Moon indicates a time of seeding, which all farmers know
is for things that will grow upwards into the sunlight - that it does
not mature as a root vegetable - or what ever is to grow. This Eclipse
has seven planet lined up in Aquarius, the sign of the man standing
with a water pot on his shoulder and the living waters flowing into
our planet. This sign is also that of humanity itself and as you know
Aquarius rules this New Era which will last about 2,500 years - as
did Pisces out of which the Sun is rapidly transitting. As you know
the same Christ will return in the early part of the New Era. Also,
that He holds the Supreme Office as Head of the Hierarchy of this
planet which is the Heart
Center of this Planet, Shamballa being the Head Center - so called.
Think of this alignment between Aquarius and its "polar
opposite", Leo, that is, these forces stream into the planet
via Aquarius and are "anchored" as it were - planeted in
Leo. Now draw a line horizontally at the middle of the vertical line
between Aquarius and Leo, which makes a cross. Place at the left hand
of this cross Scorpio and at the right Taurus. This cross is called
the Fixed Cross or that of Discipleship of the World. At the point
of Scorpio is the great planet Neptune which makes a square to the
placements of the planets in Aquarius and Leo at the points marked
Aquarius and Leo. I will not go into all the details of the placing
of the line-up of the 7 planets, excpt to say that both Uranus is
in Leo, and Pluto is
in Virgo in close relation to the point in Aquarius. and, also, to
make this important point, that Mercury is retrograde, or is not so
prominence in the message of this line-up.
What is in prominence is Neptune in Scorpio at the position
of the rising sign. ( the position of the Aquarius-Leo line is relly
shown on the map as reversed, but placed up for you one gets the feeling
of the downflow of the forces from the heavens.)
For in the Disciples of the World, Scorpio indicates that they
are at the midway place, and at their stage of evolution of aspiration.
Neptune stands as the Christ Principle in the world. Here it is not
the lower astral waters of deception, but is of the living Waters
of god's Love and that His Son is now standing at this midway poinEclipse
is very rare, the last being in Dec. 2nd 1899, which was a very powerful
one for Humanity along the Will aspect of God and will last in its
effects for about 500 years, as this Eclipse.
But this Eclipse brings healing in its forces, and is more
subjective or what it indicates is in an area of the consciousness
of Humanity. It indicates that we are really in the New Era, of Aquarius,
as far as the influence goes, though the indications of the manifesting
New era , will not be evident for sometime..
However, the powerful influences are here, and the aspirants
and intelligent men of the world can utilize these forces for the
betterment of Humanity right now.
It is also the chart of Humanity as the World Disciple. It
indicates the the divisive forces of the well developed mind will
not be in such a prominence but that the intuitional powers will become
more and more a tool of perception for Humanity. Indeed, to receive
the enlightenment of this Eclipse one must hold the lower mind in
leash so that the higher mind of the intuition which deals with Universal
truths which can be applied individually as well as on a planetary
scale can be received. The
aspirants of the world need to holds this attitude at least six months
while the immediate effects of this line-up of planets release their
energies.
Also, dear Ayrel, the disciple and aspirant must stand in consciousness
at the midway place, which is indicated in this chart as the place
of the rising Sign, in Scorpio with the Christ, Who is One with the
Father. He told us that of Himself He could do nothing but of the
Father within Him - as within all mankind - all things of good are
possible. During the next 500 years man will realize his divinity
within and there can
be true brotherhood and true abundance for all on this planet.
But the point for the immediate grasping is that the "seed"
of God, the returning Christ has been plantted in Virgo (The Mother
Earth), at this time. Whether only in the consciusness of Humanity
or in actual incarnation or both we are not certain, but D.K. wrote
that both are possible and at the time preparing Christ's Appearance
among men here will be an over-shadowing of many whose consciousness
is high enough to be reached by the Christ Principle - and there will
be many false so-called Overshadowing, but the aspirants who know
how to stand at the midway place of their own Christ within will see
