Wikileaks

The information revolution is related to the third ray of active intelligence. The world currently finds itself in an intense phase of this ray cycle. The third ray rules computers and the types of minds that write or hack codes; it is closely associated with the fifth ray of science and both rays currently rule over the Western races.

One symbol for the third ray is the labyrinth, the Minotaur’s maze, reflecting the tortuous twists, turns and complexities of the ramifying mind. The internet is another great symbol of the third ray, created by the third ray! The hourglass, Wikileak’s logo, is also a third ray symbol – this ray is ruled by Saturn, the Lord of Time.

The third ray is also related to business, cryptology, philosophy, mathematics, astrology, media, propaganda, spying, double-dealing and so forth. As noted earlier, it has an association to Sagittarius through the soul rulership of this sign by the Earth, co-ruler of the third ray.

Wikileaks is part of a phenomenon that has emerged to counter the excesses of the dis-information and propaganda age - by simply exposing millions of files of facts – from Afghanistan and Iraq, to Africa and China, to the mountain of US diplomatic cables laid bare. There are thousands of stories, many worthy of front page news headlines and it is going to take a while for the world to assimilate and integrate what has occurred. Currently it is a ‘deer in the headlights’ moment for governments scrambling to come to terms with the situation.

Whether one condones with what is unfolding or not, the pairs of opposites are moving  seriously into engagement over the issue of transparency in government and big business. It is probably the biggest and most exciting story that has emerged since 9/11. The winds of revolution, change and even anarchy are starting to gather force.  The approaching square of Uranus to Pluto will bring these factors into sharp relief by mid 2012 through to mid 2014.

The chart for Wikileaks is for the time and date when the URL was registered in 2006. In the author’s experience, these charts are no less relevant and accurate than a horoscope for any other entity. Even the registration of an online chat forum will yield an appropriate chart connected to themes that are discussed. These charts are also subject to the same transits and progressions of any other entity.

Wikileaks is a Libra Sun with Venus and Mars also in Libra. The aforementioned third ray of active intelligence is the only ray given as passing through Libra, providing a good interface for its expression in the computer-internet world. One could perhaps apply the term ‘fair and balanced’, as a more accurate description than what FOX news claims for itself! Libra is very much about the law and justice, one of the stated aims of the organisation.

 
Wikileaks.Org Horoscope

Virgo rising sign indicates a fastidious approach to ‘redacting’ and releasing documents, as well as Wikileaks ‘working behind the scenes’. The Pisces Moon also alludes to this latter theme as well Wikileaks/Assange’s secretive, elusive nature. Pisces Moon is also about to sensitive secrets and their dissemination to the masses.

Mercury in Scorpio is one of the keys to the investigative side of Wikileaks, like a deep sea diver upon the ocean floor bringing to the surface that which is obscured. Mercury trines the Moon in Pisces conjunct Uranus,  indicating a ‘psychic’ and highly intuitive sense’. No less so, Jupiter’s placement in Scorpio on the point of a T-square to Saturn in Leo and Neptune in Aquarius. Jupiter at this point of tension indicates that what is revealed is vast!

Scorpio ruler Pluto, sits in Sagittarius conjunct the galactic centre and the IC of the horoscope, another very powerful signature of the depth of revelation possible. The transit of Pluto through Sagittarius was all about the breakdown of old ideas, religious systems, ethics and outworn principles. It seems now since Pluto has entered Capricorn that this shattering of the old forms is starting to physically manifest.

Even more impressive is that Pluto and the IC angle are in a grand cross configuration with the other three angles of the horoscope, rendering great potency. The full moon eclipse in Sagittarius 2010 falls just a few degrees away and will influence it considerably.

Wikileaks has claimed that it has more scoops than the Washington Post has had in the past thirty years. The deluge of stories is amazing, and only now are activists realising that a key factor is to prevent the important stories being buried under a host of lesser stories. Or counter-productively, for nations to use the information rather too selectively for their own ends.

Top mainstream newspapers around the world have been distributing the stories, so why have they not been criticised by governments? Wikileaks has been made a scapegoat for those who cannot handle the truth and as observers point out, the responsibility is upon the people who do the original leaking. What are the methods that journalists in the mainstream media use to get scoops anyway? Quite often they are from anonymous tips and so forth. What is the difference between this kind of journalism and Wikileaks? What exactly is ‘illegal’? There is an excellent article by a formal federal prosecutor in the Washington Post, about the difficulty of Assange’s or Wikileaks’ prosecution by the US government - here.

Many Wikileaks stories are the ones that journalists from major media organisations have been too timid or controlled to ask about.

Wikileaks has been accused of being everything from a CIA front to the pawn of media magnates and billionaires; it has also undergone internal struggles where in one case some Wikileaks staff split and formed ‘OpenLeaks’, because of Assange’s somewhat autocratic style.

Whether any of these entities survive or not, the IDEA that they represent has now been well and truly sown and spread throughout the global consciousness via the internet - the externalised etheric body of the Earth. See the earlier picture of The Internet - its resemblance to the many criss-crossing lines of force within the etheric body, the minor and major chakras and points of light - is uncanny.

This period may well be the beginning of a time prophesied, where no one will be able to keep any secrets because of Humanity’s increasing psychic sensitivity:

“Christ ... spoke of the time when nothing secret would remain hidden and when all secrets would be shouted aloud from the housetops.  The growth of telepathic registration and of the psychic powers such as clairvoyance and clairaudience will eventually tend to strip humanity of the privacy in which to sin.”[1]

In light of this passage, recall the earlier passage about Mercury trine the Moon in Wikileaks chart, ‘a psychic’ and highly intuitive sense’. Maitreya (Christ) has also said,

“... men "love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil." [and DK comments] ... Nevertheless, one of the great emerging beauties of the present time is that light is being thrown into every dark place, and there is nothing hidden which shall not be revealed.”[2]

As a result of Wikileaks, the light of truth has shone with a fiery dazzle and seems to be heading toward incandescent. It is a dangerous time as a new generation engage in ‘cyber war’, venting their frustration upon the old system, butting its head against the resentment and intransigence of the status quo.

Some of the young ‘Anonymous’ group of hackers who are involved in ‘operation payback’ and embrace somewhat anarchic tendencies (not an unhealthy stance), are starting to get caught up in the ‘glamour of conflict’ and pumped up with their own sense of power. Many are being urged to express their ‘hatred’ by some shadowy individuals, a dangerous word to throw around. And those feelings are being returned with equal vehemence by the ‘establishment’ who sense some fear and impending chaos. The hatred in Washington for Assange is rampant.

While these events have been unfolding, there has been shocking weather over the whole of northern Europe and the USA, with massive flooding in the southern hemisphere:

“The separative and maleficent thoughts of man are largely responsible for the savage nature of wild beasts, and the destructive quality of some of nature's processes, including certain phenomena, such as plague and famine.”[3]

There are ironies and paradoxes in the Wikileaks saga. Whilst demanding transparency from governments, they must protect themselves from harm by being hidden and elusive. Those who criticise Wikileaks about this fact do not take into account that some have risked their lives in their work. Staff and associates have had outrageous threats made to them, mainly from the knee-jerk responses of outraged right wing politicians. (See later when discussing Assange’s horoscope.)

Wikileaks’ Association with Corporate Media

The following is excerpted from an article Who is Behind Wikileaks? by Michel Chossudovsky[4] and is presented as  thought-provoking and alternative analysis of the situation:

This collaboration between Wikileaks and selected mainstream media is not fortuitous; it was part of an agreement between several major US and European newspapers and Wikileaks' editor Julian Assange. 

The important question is who controls and oversees the selection, distribution and editing of released documents to the broader public?

What US foreign policy objectives are being served through this redacting process? 

Is Wikileaks part of an awakening of public opinion, of a battle against the lies and fabrications which appear daily in the print media and on network TV?

If so, how can this battle against media disinformation be waged with the participation and collaboration of the corporate architects of media disinformation?

Wikileaks has enlisted the architects of media disinformation to fight media disinformation: An incongruous and self-defeating procedure.    

America's corporate media and more specifically The New York Times are an integral part of the economic establishment, with links to Wall Street, the Washington think tanks and the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

Moreover, the US corporate media has developed a longstanding relationship to the US intelligence apparatus, going back to "Operation Mocking Bird", an initiative of the CIA's Office of Special Projects (OSP), established in the early 1950s.

Even before the Wikileaks project got off the ground, the mainstream media was implicated. A role was defined and agreed upon for the corporate media not only in the release, but also in the selection and editing of the leaks. In a bitter irony, the "professional media", to use Julian Assange's words in an interview with The Economist, have been partners in the Wikileaks project from the outset.

Moreover, key journalists with links to the US foreign policy-national security intelligence establishment have worked closely with Wikileaks, in the distribution and dissemination of the leaked documents.

In a bitter irony, Wikileaks partner The New York Times, which has consistently promoted media disinformation is now being accused of conspiracy. For what? For revealing the truth? Or for manipulating the truth? In the words of Senator Joseph L. Lieberman:

“I certainly believe that WikiLleaks has violated the Espionage Act, but then what about the news organizations — including The Times — that accepted it and distributed it?” Mr. Lieberman said, adding: “To me, The New York Times has committed at least an act of bad citizenship, and whether they have committed a crime, I think that bears a very intensive inquiry by the Justice Department.” [5] [6]

Yet for all we know, these associations with mainstream media may have been deliberately cultivated by Wikileaks and Assange in order to facilitate the greatest dissemination. There may not be any ‘puppeteering’ or ‘front’ whatsoever and Wikileaks may well have their autonomy intact.

Wikileaks and Assange

There are some important synastries between these two charts:

1. The Wikileaks Libra Sun falls on Assange’s Uranus, the ‘rebel’ ingredient in his       horoscope, especially as it squares his Cancer Sun. In other words, Assange’s          Sun squares the Wikileaks Sun, creating an environment ripe for a clash between       Assange and staff. Cancer Suns can also be ‘control freaks’.

2. Wikileaks’ rising sign Virgo falls on Assange’s Pluto, creating an intense            interaction through the activation of his Pluto square Venus.

3. Wikileaks’ Mercury and Jupiter in Scorpio midpoint falls on Assange’s Moon.

4. Assange’s Venus in Gemini sits on the Wikileaks midheaven and opposite its     probing Pluto, creating ever more intensity and power.
